That kind of loss drops you to the mat. I questioned everything. What I could have done differently. Whether the dream was over.

It wasn’t.

Three days later I went back to work. I cried through every shift, scooping dough with the support of my family, my friends, and the same people who had just lost their jobs beside me. In that moment I made a decision. I was not staying down.

R.O.S.E. became my mantra.

Rise up and overcome the massive hit life gave me that I had survived this and was ready to evolve and go after my dreams again.

That is what led to today. I am back, and Twisted Dough is the next chapter.

This brand is built on resilience, community, and food that helps people feel good in their bodies without giving up joy. We make treats that meet you where you are, whether that is protein dough, dough cream, doughnuts, whipped dough, or seasonal pop-ups. With over ten years of experience as a chef and a nurse, I care deeply about creating products that support both physical and mental well-being.

Twisted Dough will not be for everyone, and that is okay. We are here for the people who want to Dough Better together.

The same team that endured the shutdown worked beside me, unpaid, to help rebuild. That is the kind of community this is.
